Emirates Electrical Engineering is a member of Al Rostamani Group, a leading UAE family business conglomerate, which was founded by Abdulla Hassan Al Rostamani in the early 1950’s. Guided by its core values of Commitment, Care, and Vision, Al Rostamani Group runs businesses across various sectors including automotive, general trading, real estate and construction, solar energy, financial services, travel and tourism, and technology solutions industries.
Tracing our roots to 1977, we built our foundation through power transmission and distribution projects that supported the UAE’s infrastructure development. Over the decades, we contributed to the delivery of more than 53 turnkey 132/11 kV substations across the UAE, together with complex brownfield upgrades and commissioning activities that supported grid stability during growth and modernization.
Our history also includes extensive underground cable infrastructure, spanning the design, installation, testing, and commissioning of cable systems up to 400 kV. More than 5,400 km of 132 kV cable networks form part of this track record, integrating pilot, telephone, and fiber-optic links that support protection, control, and communications across the network.
Today, we build on this foundation as an integrated engineering and energy solutions provider, delivering solar energy systems, energy efficiency solutions, MEP services, and system integration capabilities across infrastructure, commercial, industrial, and government projects.

Emirates National Grid Integration

2007
Regional Engineering Milestone
The company executed the first 400 kV monopole overhead line project in the Middle East, located in Dubai. This reflected its growing capability in delivering complex and technically advanced transmission solutions.
2013
Urban Infrastructure Delivery
Emirates Electrical Engineering secured the EPC contract for the 132/11 kV Fountain Substation in Downtown Dubai. The project demonstrated the company’s ability to deliver critical power infrastructure for high-profile urban developments.
2022

Launch of ESCO Services

Advancement into System Integration
Emirates Electrical Engineering established its System Integration Division, expanding into more advanced electrical and digital infrastructure solutions. This marked the next step in the company’s evolution towards integrated energy and engineering delivery.
